1. Data controller

Park and Padel Wellness Center (“Wellness Center”), located at Park and Padel club, Calle 50 y Calle 59 Este, Obarrio, Panama City, Panama, is responsible for the personal data we collect through this website, WhatsApp and our virtual assistant. Contact: WhatsApp +507 6926-5925.

2. What we collect

Information you give us when you message us on WhatsApp or use the virtual assistant: name, phone number, reason for your visit and any health information you choose to share.

Aggregated, anonymous usage data through Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or identify individual visitors.

The virtual assistant keeps the conversation in your own browser (local storage) so it isn’t lost if you reload the page. You can clear it with “New conversation” or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

3. How we use it

To answer your questions, schedule and remind you of appointments, provide physiotherapy care and follow up on your progress, and keep the website working well. We never sell or rent your data.

4. Health information

Health information is sensitive data. We only process it with your consent and for your care. Please don’t share detailed clinical information in the website chat; your assessment and clinical record are completed at the center.

5. Legal basis

We process your data based on the consent you give when you contact us and on the care relationship established when you book an appointment, under Panama’s Law 81 of 2019 on personal data protection and its regulations.

6. Who we share it with

Technology providers we need to operate: website hosting (Vercel), messaging (WhatsApp, by Meta, when you contact us there) and, once enabled, the virtual assistant provider. They process data on our behalf. We don’t share your data with third parties for advertising. We may disclose it to authorities when required by law.

7. How long we keep it

For as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for and to meet legal obligations, including health regulations on keeping clinical records.

8. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion, objection and portability by messaging us on WhatsApp. We’ll respond within the timeframes set by law. If you believe your request wasn’t handled properly, you can contact Panama’s National Authority for Transparency and Access to Information (ANTAI).

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the site and restricted access to patient information.

10. Minors

Care for minors is arranged with a parent or legal guardian, who provides the corresponding consent.

11. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. The current version is always published on this page with its update date.
